“Humananke” is a fascinating journey into a unique musical universe. It stands out thanks to its original language featuring dark atmospheres, complex progressive structures, epic orchestral scores, extreme metal contaminations and a peculiar vocal style, based on a continuous intertwine of different melodies a female and a male voice. The lyrical theme of the whole album is the struggle against fate or circumstances, identified in Ananke, primordial deity in ancient Greek mythology.
The album is enriched by the participation of international renowned artists like Mike Lepond (Symphony X), Rafael Bittencourt (Angra), Kobi Farhi (Orphaned Land) and Gabriele Caselli (Eldritch)! “Humananke” was mixed at Outer Sound Studio with Giuseppe Orlando (Novembre, DGM) and mastered at the legendary Finnvox Studios with Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Stratovarius and many more).
It’s a top release for fans of Progressive Metal (Symphony X, Adagio and early Dream Theater), experimental Extreme Metal (Arcturus, Borknagar or Opeth) and great orchestral outfits such as Therion.

I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer

Holy unholy shitballs this is an oriental death metal masterpiece! I only discovered it just now while checking their upcoming 2020 new album Al Qassam through AMG. Checking out the rest of their discography was really worth it. Killer album. hatbanger_ollie
